PRIME FIN TUBES are engaged in the manufacture of Integrally Low Finned Ferrous & Non-Ferrous tubes.These Integrally Low Finned Tubes are manufactured from finely selected and high precision Plain Ferrous Tubes, such as Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and Plain Non-Ferrous Tubes, such as Copper, Cupro-Nickel (70:30, 90:10), Admiralty Brass, Aluminium Brass, Aluminium, etc.
The Integral Fin are formed by pressure extrusion process, thereby enhancing the Surface Area almost by 2.5 times, with respect to the surface area of plain tubes.
Integrally Low Finned tubes are manufactured with utmost care and under rigorous quality control measures.
We have imported integral low finning machines to ensure that our customers get the best in class of low Fin Tubes.
The spiral Fins are formed with pressure extrusion process and therefor the fin are truly integrated with base of the tube, to ensure excellent heat transfer characteristics. This also results not only good heat transfer efficiency but extended durability and high resistance to vibration.
We manufacture Integral Low Fin Tubes, strictly as per our Customer’s requirement. However, generally the manufacturing standards followed are: ASTM SB-359, SA-213/SA-213-M, SA-450/SA-450-M, SA-688. The material testing are done generally as per ASTM B-154.
We have in-house “U” bending facility to offer “U” Bend Fin Tubes to our customers. We follow TEMA-RCB (Sec. IV) for Tube Bending.
Dimensions of Low Fin Tubes are precisely maintained in accordance with specification/drawings given by our customer and inspection is carried out as per Quality Plan. We use calibrated Testing & Measuring equipment like, Micro-meters, Vernier Calipers, Measuring Tapes (to carry-out dimensional accuracy), Hardness Tester (to carry-out hardness before & after finning/stress relief annealing), Profile Projector (to measure the fin height, fin thickness, number of fins per inch, fin pitch, etc.). Further, all tubes are subject to leak test either by Pneumatic Pressure Test or Hydrostatic Pressure Test, depending upon customer specific requirement.
To avoid stress corrosion failures, PRIME FIN TUBES has engaged an outside source for Stress Relief Annealing of Fin Tubes, as per customer’s specific requirement. Before and after stress relief annealing the tube hardness and micro structures are checked and confirmed.
Any Third Party Inspection Agency can be engaged for inspection of Integral Low Fin Tubes as per customer requirement.

Integral Fin Tubes can be used in various Heat Exchanger Applications, Viz. Condensers, Chillers, Oil Coolers and Shell & Tube Type Heat Exchangers.
